Founded in 2020 by Rob Moffitt, The Haus Plant is a Los Angeles–based botanical design studio redefining how people experience plants in their spaces. What began as a humble “rolling garden” plant truck has grown into a full-service studio serving a roster of clients including Gwyneth Paltrow & Goop, Kendall Jenner & FWRD, Bridget Romanek, Jamie Bush, Montalba Architects, Holly Hunt, Clint Nicholas, Kneedler Fauchere, Nickey Kehoe, and Olive Atelier.
With a background in nursing, Rob was drawn to the way living environments can influence emotions and wellbeing. He founded The Haus Plant on the belief that plants are more than décor — they’re living design. Each composition merges art, nature, and architecture to create immersive, biophilic spaces that feel alive. The studio’s work is defined by its curatorial approach: extraordinary and often rare plant specimens are paired with sculptural or vintage vessels sourced from around the world, resulting in installations that blur the line between art and nature.
In 2025, The Haus Plant entered a new chapter with the expansion into an 11,000-square-foot creative compound in Los Angeles — a hub uniting plants, furniture, art, music, and design under one roof. The space will host exhibitions, performances, and collaborations with world-class designers. Featured in Vogue Living, Elle Decor, and Architectural Digest, The Haus Plant continues to shape the future of botanical design through authenticity, creative exploration, and a belief that beauty and nature belong at the center of how we live.
Their showroom — home to the studio’s beloved Sulcata tortoise, Willy — is located in the heart of Los Angeles.
